
Sunanda Madan
Sunanda Madan is an impact investing and finance professional with deep experience across development and blended finance. Her work has focused on deploying capital and supporting enterprises across sustainable agriculture, climate, livelihoods, clean energy and financial inclusion.
Prior to TILT, Sunanda worked with Rabo Foundation, where she focused on deploying catalytic capital across smallholder agriculture and rural livelihoods. Before that, she was with Acumen India, where she led the agriculture and energy sectors, focusing on investments, ecosystem development and strategic partnerships, while also supporting portfolio companies and developing new initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Sunanda worked in investment banking with Standard Chartered Securities and Kotak Mahindra Capital, advising companies on equity capital raising and strategic transactions. She holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
