Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta is a Co-Founding Partner at CEO, Varni Capital · ex-TPG NewQuest, where he has played a central role in building one of Asia's leading secondary private equity platforms. With deep experience across India and Southeast Asia, Amit has led investments in business services, financial services, energy, healthcare and consumer sectors, often partnering closely with founders and management teams through complex transitions.

Prior to TPG, he was part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Asia private equity group. An engineer by training and an MBA from IIM Bangalore, Amit is known for combining analytical sharpness with a highly founder-aligned, long-term investment approach.
